Some Union-Endicott Students Showcase Their Robots

The Union-Endicott High School robotics team showed their stuff Friday night.

The group will be competing in an international robot competition this month, starting in California, Pennsylvania with the hopes of moving on to the next level.

It is known as the FIRST Robotics competition and it is designed to feel less like another robotics competition and more like the NCAA Final Four.

We're told this year's robots are to be considered as "high-tech knights" battling on a medieval playing field. The competition challenges young people to create the robots with the help of mentors.
