Authorities tell us that they executed a narcotics search warrant Tuesday at an apartment located on Charlotte Street in the City of Binghamton. Its occupants, 50-year-old Saul D. Cataquet and 49-year-old Victor F. Gonzalez, were found to be in possession of drugs and other items that landed them in trouble with the law.

Police say the two had approximately 20 grams of crack cocaine, 55 plastic knotted wraps each containing crack cocaine, suboxone sublingual films (a controlled substance), digital scales used to weigh narcotics, 10 plastic baggies each containing marijuana, a black 12 gauge shotgun and approximately $2,700 of suspected drug proceeds.

Both men were held at the Binghamton Police Department and were arraignment Wednesday at the City of Binghamton Court.

Both men were subsequently sent to the Broome County Sheriff’s Correctional Facility without bail. They face a number of drug-related charges.
