Accused Murderer Ryan Lawrence to Undergo Mental Health Exam
By FOX 40 Staff. Ryan Lawrence, the man accused of murdering his 21-month year old daughter Maddox, will undergo a mental health examination Monday. Lawrence was supposed to face a grand jury; however this was waived in favor of proceeding with the mental health examination.
According to the Syracuse City Court, Lawrence, 24, will be tested to see if he was “mentally stable” when he allegedly committed murder. Lawrence pleaded not guilty to second degree murder charges during a short arraignment last week.
If indicted, the case will proceed to the Onondaga County Court.
