Stolen Items from JC Walgreen's Could be Used to Make Illicit Drugs

Johnson City police are looking for those responsible for a theft at a local Walgreen’s.

Early Monday, the Johnson City Police Department received a call for a burglar alarm activation at the Walgreen’s store located at 335 Main Street Johnson City, NY.

Officers discovered forced entry to the building to the pharmacy area. An investigation determined that the suspect or suspects had fled the scene prior to police arrival and that several packages of medication had been stolen.

This medication is consistent with the manufacturing of illicit drugs. Forensic evidence was discovered at the crime scene which has been collected and secured for further examination.
