Schumer's Office Speaks on Naloxone Bill

Naloxone, known as the overdose drug, could be more readily available.

The office of Senator Charles Schumer says legislation just passed out of the Judiciary Committee and that will now go on to the full Senate to make the drug that reportedly block the effects of an overdose more readily available. The bill is called "The Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act of 2015."

Schumer's office says that it would expand the availability of Naloxone and provide additional resources that the office says could reduce drug overdoses and deaths.
