SUNY Broome hosts a screening of a documentary known as "Bottoms Up" on Friday.
Believe it or not, the film examines why women choose to go under the knife to cosmetically enhance their rear-end. Today's societal pressures to have a "big butt" are said to be great. Yet, there are potentially dangerous consequences of dramatic cosmetic surgery.
The director and producer of the film attended the campus screening and joined conversation following its showing.
The film is described as, "jam-packed with commentary from plastic surgeons, women who desperately long for larger ones, and men who want a little more than a handful."
