Garcia Pleaded Not Guilty in Binghamton MurderPosted:

A Binghamton murder suspect has pleaded not guilty during an arraignment Thursday morning.
Jonathon Garcia, 19, of Binghamton is charged with second-degree murder for the shooting that led to the death of 28-year-old Jamaal Moses of Binghamton with occurred early February 14th.
On February 15th, Garcia was arrested after he was pulled over near an exit outside Miami, Florida. Garcia has family connections in Miami, according to police. Authorities say there was no struggle in the arrest.
Police believe the fatal shooting was part of a drug deal gone bad, not a random act. The shooting took place around one a.m. near the intersection of Lake Ave and Merrill St. Moses was shot several times and died from his injuries at Wilson Hospital.
Garcia is currently in the Broome County Jail without bail.
