Business Plan Competition Announced

Mayor Rich David announced details of Binghamton's Business Plan Competition in hopes to continue a 7-year-span of success.

The competition is an ongoing effort to provide small business entrepreneurship and boost Binghamton's economy.

The competition will begin this month and go until the end of April, when a winner will be announced.

The winner will not only claim a five thousand dollar grant, but much more.

"Five hours of accounting services, five hours of legal council, one year startup office space at The Center, one year membership at the Greater of Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, five hundred dollars in Signed Creation services, and five hundred dollars in website services," said Mayor David.

Mayor David hopes that these services will help the winner's business and in the end, help the community.
