Thursday, February 18, 2016 8:38 AM EST
By Fox 40 Staff.
January 11th has been proclaimed Bambi Madden Day in Binghamton.
The proclamation was presented by Councilman Giovanni Scaringi at a city council meeting Wednesday night.
Madden, a mother of three, went missing in January of 2006.
She reportedly walked out of her home and never returned.
Her disappearance has haunted family and friends for years.
This day in her name would be part of continuing effort to keep her memory alive in the area.
