Fatal Shooting in Binghamton

One man is dead after an overnight shooting in Binghamton.

Police responded to the area of Lake Ave and Merrill St. shortly after 1 a.m., after receiving a call that a man had been shot.

Upon arrival, they found 28-year-old Jamaal Moses, of Binghamton, shot multiple times.

Moses was taken to Wilson Hospital, but died from his injuries.

Authorities describe the suspect as a Hispanic male, in his 20s, about five feet and ten inches tall. The suspect was last seen wearing dark clothing and may have driven away in a red vehicle.
