Man Indicted for Attempted Murder After Alleged JC Shooting
By Jason Weinstein. A grand jury has indicted a Massachusetts man for attempted murder in the second degree after an alleged shooting in Johnson City.
29-year-old Francisco Maysonet was also indicted for assault, criminal use of a firearm, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. Police say the incident took place outside of the Oasis bar on Harry L. Drive in the early-morning hours of January 19th.
According to prosecutors, Maysonet shot the victim at least twice from close range, sending him to the hospital in critical condition.
