Woman Pleas Guilty to Robbing Chinese Food Deliverymen

A Binghamton Woman has pleaded guilty to robbing a pair of chinese food delivery men last October.

Melinda Patak entered the plea to two counts of attempted first-degree robbery this morning. On October 1st, then again on October 16th robberies of cash and cell phones took place in the area of 183 Prospect St. and 19 Mygatt St respectively. During both robberies, calls were made to the restaurants placing orders.

When the victims reached their respective delivery locations, police say they were robbed of their cash and cell phone. Sentencing is set for May 9th.
Charges are still pending for Patak's co-defendant John Pierce. His next court date is still to be determined.
