Two Arrested After Pursuit Through Binghamton

A pursuit through Binghamton Thursday night ended in a crash and two arrests.

At approximately 11:40 pm Thursday, a Broome County Sheriff's Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle, driven by Robert C. Wilson, 32, of Binghamton, in the area of Felters Road for speeding and passing vehicles on Conklin Ave. When the vehicle refused to stop, police were led on a pursuit throughout the City Of Binghamton.

The vehicle crashed into a telephone pole, then another vehicle, on Glenwood Ave at Lake Ave where the driver was taken into custody.

A passenger who ran from the vehicle, Dajuan Davis, 32 of Vestal, was also taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit.

Wilson was also found to be in possession of heroin and packaging material. Both were taken to the Broome County Sheriff’s Office for arrest processing.

Wilson was taken to the Binghamton Police Dept. to await arraignment on charges of Felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Misdemeanor, Misdemeanor Criminally Possessing Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle, along with numerous Vehicle & Traffic Law violations.

Davis was charged with misdemeanor Obstructing Governmental Administration.
