BU Asks for Old Community Memories for New Project

Binghamton University is asking you to lend them some of your old memories of the Southern Tier to help out with a new project.

The college is actively seeking letters, movies, photos, and other documentation for its Past 2 Future Project. These items will be digitized and you will receive the original back along with a digital copy to share with family and friends. At the same time, another copy will be used by the school for professors, students, scholars, and the public to use for research.

"We're interested in anything that many families might have that would help us understand life in this area and the people that have lived in this area," said Kevin Wright, Director of P2F Project.

If you are interested in becoming part of this free project, you can contact its director Kevin Wright at Wright@Binghamton.edu or by calling 607-427-2051 for more information.
