Celebrations Continue with Catholic Schools Week

Wednesday marks the fourth day of National Catholic Schools week.

Dozens gathered at Seton Catholic Central School for a mass to celebrate this year's theme of "Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service." Bishop Robert Cunningham of the Syracuse Diocese said he is traveling to different schools meeting with students encouraging them in their studies but also trying to focus on how important Catholic education is.

Bishop Robert Cunningham said, "It's just wonderful to see all these people enthusiastic especially the young people enthusiastic about their school but also parents and friends of Catholic education enthusiastic of about Catholic education. We have to look forward to the future filled with hope and our Catholic schools give us hope for generations to come."

Bishop Cunningham says he is very hopeful that Catholic Schools will continue to grow and prosper. Catholic Schools Week continues through Friday.
