No Injuries in Windsor Fire

By Molly Darrow.
A home is destroyed after a fire in the Town of Windsor Friday afternoon.

Fire officials responded to the call of a two-alarm fire at a single family home at 62 Bell Rd. in Windsor around 12:45 p.m. Authorities say the fire was contained in about 20 minutes, but the home appears to be a total loss.

Officials say no one was home at the time of the fire and there are no injuries to report. The fire was reported by a mail person. There were two cats at the home, however, they were taken to a neighbor's home safely.

Great Bend, Windsor, West Windsor, Kirkwood, and Five Mile Point fire agencies were all on scene.

The fire is still under investigation.
