Every game is a big game in the tight America East

Even at 4-15 overall and just 1-5 in the conference there is still hope for the BU Bearcats to make a run and get decent positioning in the America East Tournament.

The Stony Brook Sea Wolves are 7-0 in conference with Albany, New Hampshire, and Vermont all at 4-2. Hartford and Maine are 2-4 with UMBC and Binghamton at 1-5. UMass Lowell is 3-4 but is still on probation after going Division I in 2013. It's a packed race for those middle spots in the conference and a few big wins can put the Bearcats right in the mix.

"The one thing that people don't realize in Division I it's like every game is the Super Bowl, whether you're trying to get your first win, your second win, or you're trying to stay in first place, said Tommy Dempsey, Bearcats Head Coach. "Every game you go into once you get into conference play it just seems just as big or bigger than the last one or bigger than the next one and I just think that's how everyone approaches it. Everyone is jockeying for position, everyone is trying to build momentum for the program and you go into every game with a real sense of urgency."

BU hosts UMBC on Wednesday.
