B-Sens chasing everyone, focusing on Rochester

The Binghamton Senators are not only last place in the North Division, but the entire Eastern Conference. So, it stands to reason that if they want to make the playoffs this season, they have to chase down a lot of teams.

The Rochester Americans are just one spot ahead of the Senators in the division, but a few spots ahead in the conference. With an 8-2-1 record in their last 11 games the Senators are playing some pretty good hockey of late and look to carry that over into a home-and-home weekend with their in-state rivals.

"It's another team we're chasing and that's the way we're looking at it now. We're chasing everyone but, these are the teams that are in the middle pack and we're going to play them a lot. So when we play them it's not just a two point game it's worth way more than that, way more valuable to us. Especially this time of year. If we can win these ones against hte teams we have to chase the other ones mean even more later down the road in March when we don't have a chance to play theses guys every night and these are the ones that are going to count. So we want to make sure we put them in the bank, as many points as we can right now."

B-Sens and Americans drop the puck in Rochester at 7:05. Both teams travel southeast for a Saturday matchup at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena at 7:05.
