Police: Man Sold Sold Parts from Car he was Hired to Fix

A Town of Windsor man is facing larceny charges after allegedly selling parts from a car he was hired to fix.

Christopher J. Krohn, 20, was arrested Wednesday after a larceny investigation conducted by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office. The office received a complaint of stolen automobile parts from a residence on in the Town of Windsor on January 8th.

An investigation was conducted and identified Krohn as a suspect when it was learned that Krohn was hired to perform repairs on the automobile.

Krohn was located and questioned about the larceny and was subsequently arrested. It was determined that Krohn had returned the auto parts to a store and kept the money for himself.

Khron is being charged with 1 misdemeanor count of Petit Larceny.

Krohn was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Windor Court at a later date.
