Endwell Native Tull Sells Legendary for $3.5 Billion

Endwell native Thomas Tull has sold his company Legendary Pictures to a Chinese conglomerate for $3.5 billion.

According to Fox Business News, Dalian Wanda Group, the world's biggest movie theater operator, will buy an unspecified majority stake in the company. Tull will stay on as CEO. Legendary was founded in 2000.

The company has made hits such as "The Dark Knight" and "Man of Steel," as well as "The Hangover" film franchise.
