Police: Missing Plates Led to D.W.I. Arrest

An Apalachin man missing license plates led to his arrest for D.W.I.

On Saturday at about 7:33 p.m., New York State Police arrested Alexander G. Perry, 30 of Apalachin, for misdemeanor aggravated D.W.I. with a B.A.C. result of .24% and other traffic violations.

The arrest occurred after a traffic stop when Perry was seen driving without two license plates on his vehicle while on Maryvale Drive in the Town of Owego. An investigation determined that he was driving while intoxicated when he drove into his driveway and stopped.

Perry was issued tickets to appear in the Town of Owego court on January 14, 2016.
