By Jason Weinstein.
Pennsylvania State Police say a Binghamton man was driving a stolen car when he led police on a high-speed chase.

On Wednesday night Pennsylvania State Police pursued a car stolen from a Binghamton shopping plaza that was travelling south on Route 81. Speeds exceeded 90 miles per hour.

Police deployed stop sticks but the car continued on 81 South despite a pair of flat tires. Police say 32-year-old Jesse Alan Cook was pinned in by troopers when he took the New Milford exit. Police say he crashed into a patrol car when he tried to get back onto Route 81. Cook is charged with receiving stolen property and several vehicular violations. He is in the Susquehanna County jail.
