BPD Seeking Two Suspects in Armed Robbery of Female Victim

By Kerry Longobucco.
Binghamton Police are searching for two suspects accused of the armed robbery of a woman last night in the city.

Officers responded to the area of 16 Grand Blvd. at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police say a female victim reported that she was walking home from price chopper when she was approached by two men -- one armed with what appeared to be a gun, and the other with a bat -- who demanded property from her, then fled toward Orton Avenue.

The first suspect is described as a tall black male, wearing dark clothing, plus a dark colored bandana over his face.

The second suspect is believed to be a light skinned male, in his 20's, with a thin build. Police say he was wearing a grey hoodie, dark colored pants, and also had a bandana covering his face.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the detective division at 607-772-7080.
