The Binghamton Airport Dishes Out Holiday Traveling Tips

There are only a couple more days until one of the biggest holidays of the year.

According to the Deputy Commissioner of Aviation at the Greater Binghamton Airport, Mark Heefner, Wednesday and Thursday are among the list of busiest travel days. And with the great weather this year, he says even more people are out traveling.

Heefner stated, arrive at the airport about one hour prior to your departure time in order to get through security and to ensure a more relaxing trip.

"We're going to try and make your travel as easy as possible. We understand that you're going to have to go through generally other airports to get to your destination and we want to make that as easy as possible on the front end and on the back end," said Heefner.

If you need a quick boost, Heefner said there is a coffee stand for you and a charging station for your electronics. He also said don't forget to bring those headphones, but more importantly just remember to breathe and enjoy the ride.
