Bail Set For Suspect in DWI Crash That Killed Daughter

A Cortland County man facing 31 charges in the DWI crash that killed his daughter has had bail set on his case.

Daniel haynes III has pleaded not guilty to the charges including aggravated vehicular homicide, four counts of reckless endangerment and three counts of aggravated DWI. Bail was set Tuesday at $100,000 cash and $200,000 bond.

Police say on April 24th Haynes was driving his children and two other adults from his home to another in the Town of Virgil. 6-year-old Asia Haynes died in the crash.Haynes' two other children suffered non-life threatening injuries.
