Tuesday, December 8, 2015 10:52 PM EST
By Emily Girsch.
Doctors spoke at a seminar at Lourdes Hospital Tuesday night about minimally invasive robotic surgery as a soon-to-be available procedure.
Doctors say robotic surgery is the future of hip and knee replacement.
Those at the meeting could get a close up view of the sculpting technique.
Doctors say robotic surgery is less invasive and recovery time is quicker.
It's also said to be more precise and patients suffer less blood loss.
