PA State Police Need Your Help to Find Wanted Sex Offenders

By Jason Weinstein.
Pennsylvania State Police are asking for the YOUR help in locating absconded, or wanted, sex offenders.

Megan's Law requires sex offenders to register with State Police. They must also update and verify their personal information. Failing to comply with Megan's Law is a felony offense. There are 145 offenders with an active arrest warrant for failing to comply with the registration requirements.

A list of these absconded offenders can be found on the Pennsylvania State Police Megan’s Law website at www.pameganslaw.state.pa.us by clicking on “View all Non-Compliant Offenders” and selecting “absconded” from the drop down menu.

Anyone with a tip can also call the megan’s law section at 1-866-771-3170.
