B-Sens look to turn season around

The Binghamton Senators struggled through the month of November picking up just two wins and ending the month with an overall 5-12-2-0 record. Now that December has started, the team is looking to use the momentum gained by a four goal third period against Rochester on Saturday to turn things around.

Typically when you score four goals in a period, you expect to win a game, but that wasn't the case for Binghamton on Saturday. Even so, it was a welcome sight after the previous five periods were, what Luke Richardson called, "hockey that we never want to see again." So, while they've yet to win back-to-back this season things are starting to look up.

"From now to the end of the year there's a lot of games we have probably 60 games to go or just under," Richardson said. "That's a lot of games, so if you cut it down into 6-10 game segments, you can do some damage but you have to be consistent and we haven't been so we have to work on that."

Binghamton travels to Syracuse on Friday before returning home Saturday against St. John's at 7:05.
