Endwell Firefighters Serve Up Breakfast To The Community

By Brianna Case.
The Endwell Fire Station had their community holiday breakfast today, to raise funds for the station.

Firefighters served pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, milk, coffee, and other breakfast foods to the members of the community to purchased a ticket.

And what's a holiday breakfast without Santa Claus! Kids were able to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas.

In addition to a spread of breakfast foods and a meet with Santa, the fire department hoped to reach out to everyone about safety.

"Answer any questions they have on anything, fire safety, fire prevention, I want to remind everyone to check their smoke detectors, change the batteries, it's really really important.
This time around the holidays you want to make sure your more safe than ever, especially as the cold weather approaches,"said, Rob Brady, President of the O.L. Davis Fire Company.

President Brady suggests to check your heating equipment this winter and also to make sure everything is turned off when you're done cooking.
