Cortland Man Arrested for Narcotics and Weapons Possession.
A Cortland resident is facing a variety of charges after a narcotics and weapon possession arrest.
Bernard J. Dukes, 34, of 43 East Ave, Cortland was arrested after the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcment Team (CNET) and Cortland County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on the residence.
The warrant was issued as a result of an investigation into the sale of cocaine and crack cocaine in the City of Cortland.
Seized items include a Tarus .38 Special 5 shot revolver, drug paraphernalia, ammunition, small amount of marijuana, coffee filters with cocaine residue and $256 US Currency.
Dukes is facing multiple charges including Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance
Dukes is being held at the Cortland County Jail on $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.
