SUNY Broome Offers Course on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
By Alex Howard (twitter:@alexhoward99). The future is here, and SUNY Broome is making sure that it's students are ready. The school unveiled it's "introduction to unmanned aerial systems" course. Unmanned aircraft, or drones are currently used by the us military, and are available for consumer use as well. The industry is expected grow rapidly, and estimated to bring over 3,000 jobs to New York within the next ten years.
"The broader impact for SUNY Broome is to keep up with all the latest and greatest technology that's out there, and this is our effort on that front." - said Kevin Drumm, President of SUNY Broome Classes will be held from 9am to 4 pm at SUNY Broome three consecutive Saturdays: December 5th, 12th, and 19th. The cost of the course is $1,499.
