Binghamton to Hold Second Parking Study Meeting

By Jason Weinstein.
The City of Binghamton will hold a second public meeting Wednesday night regarding the downtown parking study.

The meeting will be at the Metro Center lobby on Court Street from 5-7 pm. The city held a public workshop in June and also received 1,000 responses to an on-line survey.

Among the issues up for discussion includes the number of metered spots in the city, monthly parking permits at municipal ramps, and parking time limits. Last week the city closed the Collier Street Garage due to the deteriorating condition of the structure.
