B-Sens looking to get back to winning hockey

The Binghamton Senators are in the middle of a tough stretch of 12 games in 26 days and have lost seven of their last nine games. That includes a 6-3 loss in Wednesday's game in which they coughed up an early 2-0 lead in the first period.

For Luke Richardson, he says that practices won't be overly fun for a while as fundamentals will be the focus, like closing off the front of the net on defense.

"I think that's just a little bit of mental fatigue," Richardson said. "I think we've been under the gun the last few weeks of not playing well enough to win. I think that gets into your mind and brings a little panic into your game. So we have to settle things down and trust what we know how to do well and that we've shown what we can do earlier in the season and get back to it."

Binghamton travels to Syracuse on Friday.
