One Dead Following Apalachin Crash

A Taylor Recycling worker was hit and killed on the job in a crash in Apalachin early Monday afternoon, according to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office.
The accident took place outside of a residence at 3550 Pennsylvania Ave. The employee was struck by a car while walking back to the truck after picking up a recycling bin, and was killed instantly.
The driver of the car was taken to an area hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
