Tiger Sisters to Leave Binghamton Zoo

Two Amur Tiger sisters are leaving the Binghamton Zoo for breeding purposes...

Koosaka and Terney came to Binghamton in 2012 and are now eight years old. They will head to the Philadelphia Zoo, Pittsburgh Zoo, and PPG Aquarium on November 17th. The move is part of the the Amur tiger Species Survival Plan. The Binghamton Zoo works with 15 such plans including including snow leopard, red panda and andean bear.
