Binghamton City officials and the Binghamton Mets convened at city hall today to show support for the New York Mets in their World Series campaign against Kansas City.

Of the 25 players on the current roster for the New York Mets, 19 have previously played for the baseball club that calls Binghamton home.

Several notable B-Mets figures made an appearance at the ceremony including mascot Buddy the Bee and General Manager Jim Weed.
