Stabbing And Attempted Car Hijacking Results In Arrest
By Faith Jessie. New York State Police arrested a man for stabbing another man and attempting to hijack his car after the man offered to give him a ride home.
The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m.Sunday morning on State Route 28 in the Town of Deerfield. Police identified the suspect as 31-year-old Charles Guyer.
According to authorities, they received a call from 27-year-old Michael P. Lester who said he had been stabbed by Guyer while giving him a ride home. Lester also said that Guyer attempted to take the car that was also occupied by his girlfriend.
Authorities say Guyer was later located near the scene of the attack and taken into custody.
Guyer is now in the Oneida County Jail and faces felony charges.
