Binghamton Women's Basketball Improving every single day in practice

College basketball is two weeks away and the Binghamton women's basketball team has gone through 12 practices and Coach Cimino and the girls are working on getting better every single day.

Last year, the Bearcats won four games total but won three games at home in the Events Center. The big news this year was going to be watching the growth of America East Rookie of the Year Jasmine Sina thrive with her fellow sophomore Imani Watkins. But Jasmine tore her ACL last month and she will be out for the year. There are a total of 9 girls on the roster and each player will contribute in order see a result in the standings.

"I'm really proud with the effort and how hard the girls are working. I think we have made great progress and we are just staying the course of the process one day at a time. Everybody is getting better individually and then we will get better as a team and move forward from there," said Coach Cimino.

"We are just trying to get better every single day. We are taking good strides and having some really good practices. So we are trying to get better every single day and get used to playing with each other, get used to the program, and keep moving forward," said Sophomore Guard Imani Watkins.

The Bearcats will host East Stroudsburg University on Novemeber 6th for an exhibition contest at 5:30 pm
