Anti-Racism Training Creates Conversation

Racism is sometimes a hard subject to talk about but an anti-racism training that took place earlier today made it a little bit easier.

What exactly is anti-racism training?

It's a day long program that addresses actions that can beat racism locally.
The Tabernacle United Methodist church in Binghamton hosted the free event that included videos, group exercises and interactive dialog that addressed racial issues.

"Very interactive training. We are doing a whole bunch of exercises where people can explain their own experiences and where they're coming from and hopefully learn from other people too," said Isaac Silberman'Gorn.

The interactive training session was open to the first 25 people to sign up and community members were encouraged to come out and join the conversation.
