Restaurant Week in Endicott Shows Off A Variety Of Foods
Endicott's Restaurant week kicked off today. Nineteen eateries are taking part and it will go through next Wednesday.
The Village of Endicott has a heavy Italian presence but Greek Key Restaurant owner Nick Lazaros said this year's event is all about celebrating different types of cultures and cuisines.
Lazaros says, " It's not just Vestal and the parkway with restaurants. It's not just Italian foods in Endicott. There's a lot of different other eateries. People are expanding their palettes. They're becoming more liberal with what they're eating. They're accepting different things and it's really a wonderful sight to see. I'm just proud to be part of this whole endeavor."
Proceeds from these food specials will go to the Boys and Girls Club of Western Broome in Endicott.
