Over 2,000 people leaped their way towards the finish line in a unique 5k this morning.
Binghamton's first Insane Inflatable 5k popped up at the Tri Cities airport today. The race included 11 inflated obstacles and the course tested participants' strength, flexibility and endurance.
"I think it's a really great introductory 5K race. It's not too long and lengthy. The obstacles are built for everybody. It's so much fun. They're challenging, but not too challenging," said Event Director Mackenzie Cary.
A portion of proceeds from today's event will help to benefit the YMCA of Broome County.
