Conrad Taylor holds campaign rally in Binghamton

By Emily Girsch.
City council candidate and BU student Conrad Taylor held a rally this afternoon at Confluence Park to kick off the final three weeks of his campaign.

Taylor was introduced by Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo.

Among topics Taylor emphasized are the blighted housing and bad roads on the north side, the need for a stronger police presence in the area, and the city's heroin problem.

Fox 40 caught up with Taylor and asked him why someone his age was qualified for the job.

"Well I think that my youth is actually one of my biggest advantages," said Taylor. "The fact that I'm coming in here with new ideas, a fresh face is exactly what Binghamton needs right now."
