Family Enrichment Network Hosts Community Awards

The Family Enrichment Network thanked it's volunteers this morning at it's annual meeting at the holiday inn in Binghamton.

The agency, located on Cherry Street in Johnson City, is the largest early childhood education provider in the community. In addition to recognizing the hard work of it's volunteers, it also highlighted it's goals for the future.

"We serve over 900 children on a daily basis, we want to recognize our staff and our employees and all they do during the year, and also those people in the community who recognize the value of early childhood education and what we do." said Darrell Newvine, Executive Director of Family Enrichment Network

This comes after Congressman Richard Hanna's Office recently announced a $430,000 grant to the non-profit to help lower-income single fathers.
