Binghamton Zoo Kicks Off Howloween

Posted:
Lions and tigers and rain? Oh my? Well... it was a little rainy, but our furry friends at the zoo were loving it.

Howloween kicked off at the Binghamton Zoo today, to celebrate the start of the festive fall season.

Kids dressed in their favorite costumes to pumpkin bowl, face paint, win candy... and most importantly, learn about the, animals who weren't really all that phased by the rain.

"Even with the weather, people are still coming out and having a good time. You know we have plenty of indoor and outdoor activities going on so, everybody is having a good time." said, Melissa Grippin, Education Coordinator at the zoo.

"We went to go to see different kinds of animals and play different games and get out faces painted," said Abigail Galusha.

Today was the first day of Howloween. So if you missed out, don't worry, you can catch it again tomorrow, as well as next Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p-m at the Binghamton Zoo.
