Hanna Announces New Funding For Broome County Study
Wednesday, September 30, 2015 11:19 PM EDT
A New York Congressman is reporting that Broome County will have a pipeline risk study with close to $50,000 in funding.
Congressman Richard Hanna has announced the Federal Grant. His office tells us that the Broome County Planning Department will receive the funds through the U.S. Department of Transportation.
It will provide for engineering and scientific analysis of pipeline safety issues. Pipelines in Broome County can become exposed to flooding and stream channel erosion.
