A Home Invasion in Johnson City Disturbs Local Residents

A family was disturbed Sunday when two suspects allegedly broke into their home.

The incident occurred at 83 baker street in Johnson City.

According to authorities, once the suspects broke into the home, the residents immediately called the police who arrived at the scene shortly after.

A witness who lives a few houses down from where the incident occurred said that the two suspects fled the home and one of the residents chased them down the street. The witness also believes that one of the suspects had a gun which he used to hit the resident in the face.

The police would not confirm or deny these claims, but they did say that the suspects are now in custody.

The incident is still under investigation.
