Sina out for season

The Binghamton University Bearcats Basketball Team will be without sophomore point guard Jasmine Sina for the entire season. The school announced late Monday night that Sina suffered a torn right ACL during a training session last Wednesday.

Sina is the defending America East Rookie of the Year and an AEast All-Rookie selection. Last season she averaged 14.8 points in 30 games. Sina started all 30 games averaging 39.1 minutes per game. She was also second on the team in assists (94) trailing only fellow classmate Imani Watkins (102).

The Bearcats open the season on the road in Michigan on November 14.
