On a week when Binghamton is celebrating its restaurant week. a meat cutting competition took place in Maines corporate building this afternoon. this in partnership with Texas roadhouse featured nine meat cutters who took part in a contest to see who could produce the most precise and state of the art steaks in an hour and 20 minutes. Winners will move on to a national competition. Approximately 1,000 steaks were cut today. Organizers say part of the meat will be donated to charities including the local food bank the rest to a dinner for local veterans and military members.
