Tioga Downs Hosts Chicken Wing Eating Contest

During halftime of this afternoon's football games, some local fans had a competition of their own.
Tioga Downs held its first annual Touchdown Wing Challenge. Eight participants -- seven males and one female -- battled it out to see who could eat the most chicken wings in three minutes.
Four participants had won previous competitions at bars around The Southern Tier -- while others decided to take on the challenge for the first time today.
This year's winner was Jamie McNeil who ate 16 wings in the three-minute time frame. He received one-thousand dollars and a chicken wing trophy for his victory.
