Counterfeit Money and a Town of Dryden Burglary in Tonight's Crime Wrap

It is time to, once again, quote the old Kenny Rogers song. "You can't outrun the long arm of the law." Want proof? We have recently received word that a 25-year-old named Carl Keys was arrested after a burglary today at the Manley’s Mighty Mart in the Town of Dickinson.

On top of that, 34-year-old Jeremy Leitch and 40-year-old Thomas Householder have been arrested on felony burglary charges. New York State Police say the two burglarized a home in Town of Dryden.

State Police also arrested Brett White, a 37-year old Binghamton man for contempt and endangering the welfare of a child. An investigation determined that White threw his wife and 7-year-old to the floor at a home in Town of Binghamton. This violated a prior order of protection

And, a 60-year-old named Charles Myers was arrested by Johnson City Police this weekend for allegedly attempted to make a purchase at Floral Ave Market with two counterfeit one hundred dollar bills. The store's clerk confirmed they were counterfeit and called authorities. Myers was remanded to Broome County jail.
